The cloud storage provider Box was down for almost four and a half hours on Friday in a 'critical' outage, preventing customers from accessing their files.
The critical outage impacted logins, uploads, downloads, API calls and all Box services. When attempting to log in or access the service, users were met with an HTTP error 503, stating, "This page isn't working. account.box.com is currently unable to handle this request."
Their customers took to social media to vent their frustration as they no longer had access to any files stored on the cloud service saying that their businesses were being adversely affected during their busiest time of the year. Read more about this story on our LinkedIn page
