There was a major outage of Sony’s PlayStation Network (PSN) on Saturday which left tens of thousands of gamers unable to access online services, stores, and multimedia apps. Online rage of these disgruntled gamers spread quickly across social media, with users frustrated by error messages and login failures.

Given the fact that the outage occurred on the weekend when many resort to their gaming devices as a means of relaxation added to their ire. The PlayStation support webpage said that some services were experiencing issues, including its account management, gaming, and social services, as well as PlayStation Video, PlayStation Store and PlayStation Direct.
